Rooks were horribly down in numbers when I started flying the MA.  It was generally accepted that rook pilots, due to the large numbers disadvantage, had more of an opportunity to improve as pilots.  While you may get shot down a lot, you can learn to survive in this environment, and you'll get better because of it(especially your SA).

So think of it as a chance to improve.  Don't jump ship, don't waste your breath whining.  Fly, and get better along with your outnumbered countrymates.  Eventually knits will adapt and get more numbers, and the ones who went through the low times will be much better pilots for it.

Or like Rstr said, you can fly the late war German birds and think of it as a historical recreation.  It's what I'm doing :)

Last night was a classic example.  Being hit at a small base by 2 fronts for about 2-3 hours.  WE kept upping 262's because they were cheap and the rooks gave us a lot of targets.  Even when the rooks sent 3 262's after me and tarmacs 262's they found out they needed to bring more :D Was a hell of a lot of fun and I like flying on the disadvantaged side on these big maps

This is the Knight's turn to be low on numbers.
Times ago Rooks were low on numbers and they were crying loud.
I dont remember Bishes to be low , but... maybe their turn will come
Its a loss of time whining and crying , just try to organize, play a clever mission planning, dont disperse on many fronts and wait...time will change things....and maybe this can be fine to have a better organization in flying
Whining is futile...

Ehmmm...I'm a knight for your knowledge

LOL rather let credit card lapse than change teams?  LOL

Weak!

Its a game, its about enjoying yourself, if your squad insists you stay knits and yet you absolutely hate it enough to quit...

Its time to quit the squad +)

This has happened to every side since Ive been here.It all comes down to who wines about it the most.Just deal with it for now and very soon you will be on the overwhelming side and when you are, please remember that you were on here making an issue out of it and dont bust the chops of those that start a thread somewhat similar.Out numbered means plenty of targets

Yes it happens to all sides, well... not really. The Knights have always had this problem, it's just gotten out of hand in the last months. But this will always be a problem and very hard to deal with. HiTech's perk allocation has been about the best answer I've seen.

But to me the problem isn't the numbers disparity, but that it has such a profound affect on the game of capture the arena.

Mass attacks to capture bases depend only on having enough players available to overwhelm the opposition. If arena capture wasn't the focus, players could move to an area with fewer enemy. But when the mass porkage is arena wide, there's no escaping the mobs. And with numbers being so important, players on the underdog side are more apt to switch to the winning side compounding the problem.

The result is a country constantly stripped down to a few bases and forced into a corner of the arena to be fed on by the masses. This is the problem.

The best thing to do is to up a early war plane like the Hurri 1 or spitv or Spit 1 and watch your perkies climb :)

There are always fat targets diving into your base and all it takes is a couple killz in one of those planes to double or triple your perks

Blame it on the AK's.  I do.  But then, I blame them for just about everything anyway. :p

I remember back when Rookland was in the crapper on numbers, one of the AK's coming on here to see if a large squadron would consider moving to Rook to help balance the numbers.

Funny how they stayed Bish, tho.

Maybe the AK's should jump to Knights now to balance the numbers.

Skurj...

I know I have only been around here for a couple of years, what I find strange is that in that time, I have never seen the bish in the barrel for more than a couple of days. Conspiracy??? :D
