I don't have any experience with ATA-150 but this past year has seen three Maxtor ATA-133 drives die on me. I am currently waiting on the replacement for #3 as it died last week. On the other hand I have an ATA-133 40GB Maxtor that is running like a champ. Anyway I personally think it is something with the 80GB drives but what do I know. I just build systems and I will not put another 80GB Maxtor in one of mine.
