Here we go again..

Apparently Tropical Storm Henri is now a potential threat to Bermuda.

Not worried about it at all.

BUT..Hurricane Isabelle is churning along the same path as Fabian and heading west.

In this case though I think my Florida friends better watch this one.  The cold front that pushed Fabian on top of us is no longer in effect...so this one may hit the east coast of Florida, or the Carolinas.

Here are some good pictures of the aftermath of Fabian for your viewing pleasure:

The first time there may of been a hint of concern... but now it's just time for you to accept the fact that you live on an island in the Atlantic and you're just going to have to deal with these things.

Nobody cares any more you greasy Bermudian.

lol....was wondering when someone would make a comment like that.  Way to go deja...you get the "I fart in your general direction" award.  It should go nicely with your winnings on the death pool.  ;)

Mac...the eye didn't really last long here, so my efforts to say HARRRRRRR at the storm were confused.  Wind kicked back up really fast and as it was hitting us directly on the front of the condo I thought it prudent to keep the damn door shut.  :)

Rip, those are not my pics and I didn't see anything that resembled any property of mine.  I have a few up in the other thread that I took and Ozark is trying to help me host the small .avi I took too.  I need to convert my video camera footage to digital...some cool footage there of the relative calm before the storm, during the storm and then afterwards.  The latter half of the hurricane I kinda missed because it was getting dark and there was no point.

I was watching hte news last night they think its going to turn north just like Fabian.

I left for my business trip and my neighbor's dock was above water...I came home late sunday and saw it this am.. His dock is under he said this morning it's not stopping me from fishing.. I couldn't help but laugh..

With all this rain and our bad drought, lowered our spring fed lake. Well the damn thing is full!!!!  It's up 30 ft.  The lake is 10 ft over what it was in the early 90's.  Lowest I saw it was 45 ft down..

All I can say is thank god I'm on the high bank.. and the lake will never touch my house.

Well, the reports say it will turn north, but sooner than Fabian did which would make it miss us to the east.  That is what I want to see..then noone gets hit.

Anyway...here is the wee .avi file I took that ozark was kind enough to host for me.  It isn't too much but it was filmed leaning on my car which was rocking badly and getting a bit scary.  So, we finnished it and drove the five minutes it took to get home.
