1. Squad invitations are only received when you are in a tower.

2. Make a user controlled toggle that allows you to deny all gunner/observer/etc. requests *before* the window pops up in flight asking yes/no. Maybe put in a 3rd option that says 'This player only accepts gunner & observer requests when in a tower'.

or simply type /.showjoin  which converts the popup box to text buffer.

I think they should do away with ALL of the popups (insufficient fuel, no drop tanks, etc.) entirely and put all the messages in the chat buffer.
