Think that just maybe 1.04 will be out today?

Yeah, I know every Friday some thread like this comes up when a new version is being worked on. I just wanted to start it for once

1.04 will be released at 1010 EDT, Thursday, August 17th -- just as I board a train for four days away from my computer.

LOL Popeye, I board a train (First class, Sleeper for 4, Empire Builder, Sea--Minneapolis) on August 16th.

Only an insane man would  vacation in August in the state of Minn. where 95% humidity and 95 deg. weather are prevailent, and nothing biting but the bugs...

It seems to me that in another sim in a galaxy far far away the repetitive question would be: When will the next patch / plane / map be out???

The normal answer was "Soon".

Of course the more the question was asked, the farther away "Soon" seemed to get.

Gents there is a simple way to deal with this situation. Just treat it like a kid at x-mas time. Just go to sleep and it will get here.... Soon!

I can wait for this one. They are changing the FM. When they reduced the leathality of the 20mm. It compleatly cha;nged the timeing of a pass. The months spent learning how to make a one pass kill were a waste. Had to start over. With this change we may have to start over on the whole game.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa h!

I barely had to adjust my old rusty WB skills when I came to AH.  I noticed almost no change with the cannons.  What flight model changes that will be made should be minor, I can't see a problem.  All of my skills (such as they are  ) will still be usefull despite a minor FM adjustment I'm sure.

I guess if you were strictly a C Hog dweeb it might give you fits to have to actually make a decent shot.

Well, if it affects turn radius I guess the Hog will come up again in the "Beauty Pagent."

I think the cL discussion about proved how the pony should turn (not at all.)

I still think the fighters wallow like pigs over 25K and I don't think they should! Will then next revision, I hope not.  I hate turning in my Jug only to have it fall 7,000 feet!

Just one more (for today ). Some of these guys take there plane to the absolute razor edge of its ability. When, and if, they blink
is the only chance you have for a kill. There are no "minor" ajustments.

Yeah, but they have to make those adjustments just like you do.  I realize some changes might only effect certain planes... but such is life.    It's the closest thing we get to the changing situations real pilots faced in the war.  Small changes keep learning and interested.

Think how boring it would be if nothing ever changed!
