Does this mean I can no longer get a little more satisfaction in shooting down an AK than I would any other guy in a N1K/SpitIX/Typhoon/LA-7?

Sax,  AH is nothing like it used to be.

I shot a 190 down a few nights ago and send him a SALUTE because it was a nice melee, I got back a !  I think that means "finger".
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

I found that no matter how great the fight, if you win and send a salute' 75% of the time, unless he's a bud, you'll get something along those lines Swager.

I don't send them when I win. I do if I lose. 100% of the time when I lose, I'll get a salute' back.

Had a great one tonight...but I won. It's unfortunate. Saying nothin is better than giving a salute' and having it crapped on.

It's the fight. If the fight is good, jeez a salute' for those wonderful minutes is a natural byproduct of the fight you just had.

Winning or losing a great fight is a great fight regardless.

Keeps me comin back.

lol,,,only been playing a little over a month.....but in that short time I've learned (via Wilbuz) to squelch channel 1   If you honor a enemies request to stay out of a fight.....does not mean you will be treated the same.  I think the people who have been flying the longest set the tone for what goes on and the squads have little to do with that.   I don't even know what half the squads abreviations stand for,,,,,lol  ,,,,,,,figured out its best to kill the sharks (if you can) rather than be honorable to them.  They seem to just laugh at you anyways,  My 2 cents....whatever

I decided that a more cordial attitude was called for in the MA. So I reprogrammed one of my joystick buttons. Instead of typing "Death to all LA7", it now types an followed by a space, and then I type in the name of the person and hit enter.
