Well I tried to yellow it up a little bit........... in all other AC (except YAK) the armoured glass is rendered totally transparant.........

but having leaned into an La7 cockpit and looked back it looks just like that (except that when I looked in the armoured glass was 58+years old and very yellow)

In any event there are no steel bars across the middle............

i have understood your intention to show that the la7 6 view is overmodelled!!!

....so i try to give u mypoor help, i'm not so good with graphics but i add someting to your pic, is only an example of the steel bars crossing the back that i have seen in a picture that there were on it....isn't it?

This is a picture I took at kbely Prague

Its taken thru the external hood and the lines you see are in fact the cieling structure reflected onto the rear canopy as well as seen thru the rear canopy.............

This partial shot gives abetter idea..
