NB... oh how quickly we forget! Cheapshots?  I give as good as I get on this BBS. A cursory glance at some recent threads will reveal plenty of cheap shots taken at me. But oh! Oh, well at least you acknowledge that I have some credibility. Didn't know I had any! :) But I've said enough. The furballers are getting upset. Something about boot being on t'other foot.

Rude - I didn't mean to be rude! Just making a point, but perhaps a little strongly. I didn't realise that people took what I said to heart. I've talked to you on voxx and you're a nice bloke. :)

Beet1e ... the large majority of your posts are always kneejerk reactions to other posts, bent on making the topic controversial, so anything you "get" on this BBS is usually well deserved.

If someone says "black" ... you say "white" .. if someone says "tall" ... you say "short", all with the intention of causing controversy so that you can have someone to play "BBS Chess" with. It's getting old.

  • If someone says "move the fields closer together", I disagree, and say so.
  • If someone says "Harden HQ, harden FH", I disagree - things are fine as they are.
  • If someone says "perk bombs", I say that's not fair, and is an attempt to steer the game towards being furballcentric.
  • If someone says "there are no fights on the pizza map", I see that as putting pressure on HTC to remove it from circulation. I don't want that to happen, so I'll show that there is action on the pizza map - whether you personally approve of it is another matter.
  • If someone chastises the French - just for laughs - I'll be sure to point out shortcomings in their country.
  • If someone dismisses an entire continent as "nations of pissants", sure I'll have something to say about that too.
  • If an American portrays Britain as a nation of drunks, I'll do a little research and find that actually, America's problem with alcohol (cases of liver cirrhosis per 100,000 population) is 1.6 times worse than in Britain.
I could go on, but you get the picture. I am not just going to sit back while the "good ole boys" club together and rubbish everyone else, or try to steer game development to suit their own ends. As far as I know, it does not violate BBS policy. This is a discussion board, and not a changes instigated as a fait accompli board.

Sorry to take the thread waaaaaay off topic. Fed up with being slapped down by the "good ole boys" who think they represent majority opinion.

That is my last word in this thread.
