I hear the F2G Super Corsair is our next new Aircraft (more inside)

Well... Pyro said that "Perk" planes would be classified on the basis of performance and not the date introduced or the number of aircraft made.

So the other day we were talking and I asked him if he could model the F2G Super Corsair.

After all, it was merely a 430mph aircraft at 16,000 ft. Very slow and low for a 1945 American Fighter, and actually slower than the P-51 Mustang and the Me-109G10, and its big brother the F4U-4.

Plus it was armed with only x4 .50 cals.

After alot of convincing and promise of  several bottles of GlenLivet, he agreed. Now today I was told that NateDog is working on the Art already.

So none of you would object to this aircraft right?? Wow its gonna be great! Here is a pic

I think we have enough super luftwaffle   rides. Lets concentrate on good American and Allied aircraft. Particularly something NOT known for wingshedding

OHHH MY!!

I hope it's modeled with 4 20Mills. instead of 4 50cals. The 50Cals were more or less test armament for the day. All 1945 Navy A/C were switched to 20mills. It took the AAF another 10Yrs to figure it out. The early Bearcats had the same configuration but were also switched to cannons as well as all production F4U Corsairs.

Who am I kidding. I would fly it if the pilot could only flip people the bird on the way bye.
