Its a good program... chanses are that you have plenty spyware if you always install the default way.
99% of the time you can avoid spyware if you spend an extra second when you install software tho :)

go with spy-bot. It will snag stuff Ad-aware doesn't see. Test it. run ad-aware reboot and then run updated spybot.
