World War Two Gamers Convention
« on: September 15, 2003, 10:58:00 PM »
1st Annual World War Two Gamers Convention started out as the annual Warbirds players CON. But since the Warbirds company no longer sponsors the convention, players have decided we need to make it an event for all WWII gamers. It's no longer a Warbirds Con and we are in the process of adjusting the schedule of events to meet all gamers.

This is not just a “sit-around-the-bar” event, bring your computer, play your favorite games online with others in the same room. Enjoy meeting others you only know by their callsign. They’ll be a tour of the Air Force Armament Museum, Special Operations Airpark, an AC-130 Gunship, Air Commando Association, and hear our guest speaker, a Doolittle Tokyo Raider, from WWII.

Nov 13-16 Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Players here showing the game could recruit new players for Aces High. This convention is for all online gamers and is not bias towards any game company. We want to promote a place where all gamers can come together and interact.

Nobaddy,

This convention was decided at the last minute. We think it would be great for all of us to meet and play our games together.

2nd Annually World War Two Gamers Convention is set for Oct 7-10. Of course, subject to change. :)

This is going to be fun. I signed up and cann't wait. Ammo had sent out a email to all of us that had signed up asking if we wanted to have others from differant sims there. I like the idea. I'sd like to see how WW2Online looks. And since I play both WBs and AH, I like that all of us can get together.
It was a last minite thing that Ammo put together. Seems the IEN guys backed out on us this year after their layoffs. Did say anything about the con. So consider coming.

Thats just down the road from my home town too.  I have always loved that area,  memories from HS summers cruising santa rosa blvd.

Alas,  no way I can get out of San Antonio with me knee deep in college.

Sounds like fun, I hipe ya'll have a great turn-out.
