A few minor changes
« on: September 16, 2003, 04:12:58 AM »
Change the way caibration is done. I have noproblems with the way it is. Just a pain trying to calibrate and fight off fighters at the same time. Not saying it should be really easy but alittle easier wont help. And I know this next one wont settle well with some. Less perk points for vulching. If you out dogfight an aircraft you have earned all those points. But nailing an a/c on the ground should not be awarded the same amount of points as a person who out dogfights there enemies. Given vulching is very important when taking a field just think those who out perform there oppenents should get more than those who only attack a field to vulch and get perk points but dont want to any of the real fighting. And the last I am have grown sick of seeing. When a side no matter what country is start getting on a roll. Whichever country is being rolled over everyone leaves and joins the country doing all the rolling. At the beginning of the campaign or month you remain with the country you were with at the end of the last campaign or month. The person can change sides once for that campaign or month and is stuck with that side till the end of the month. This will stop people from trying to get some easy perk points they didnt earn. Those who do the hard fighting and planning earn the perks not the ones who change sides at the last minute to get more then what they have earned.  And one more thing to stop people from being accused of spies or spying. Make it impossible to side private tells between countries. Keep the all channel. I have no problems with it. But not allowing people to talk on private channels to other countries or people in that country, will stop the whining about spies. And also set chat radio freq to a set number for each country. For example bish- 001-200, rooks 201-400, and knits 401-600.  And you can only tune to your countries set radio frequency and no one else. Just some easy fixes to make the game fun and give the perks to those that earn them and help bring down the whinging, spying (cause everyone knows it happens), and those not earning there points from getting what other work hard for.
