Mark "Snowman" Brollini - THANKS
« on: September 16, 2003, 06:17:03 AM »
I think this said it all.

"Alan,
Please post a thank you to everyone that had emailed me and posted on the boards.
The send off was Classic, The Honor Guard came in, Presented the Flag, then the 21 rounds volley and played taps.

It was the perfect send off for Dad, a hero in my eyes always and to the nation. Now watching Saving Private Ryan will have a completely different take in my heart. I have pictures of Dad at the 50th Anniversary at Normandy as well as pictures he gathered throughout the war.

I will miss his stories, some funny and some sad. He wouldn't talk to anyone else in the family about them but me. I guess maybe, because I had similar times with Vietnam.

You friend and comrade always

Mark"

Thank you to all .
Alan aka Glint

Just for the information of some who don't know who Snowman is. Mark Brollini was head of the AW training team for many years, and it was a great team. I had the opportunity to work with Mark when he was hired to be in charge of the AW arena game operators. I had heard how Mark was held in such hi regard by the trainers, and had the good fortune of finding out first hand what a class guy Mark is.

I also worked with Glint, the messenger here. He is also a fine guy and a good friend.

Salute to Snowman, Glint and others who contribute their personal time and talent for the betterment of this game for all of us. Between AW, WB and AH, this list is indeed a long one.
