Hell I've seen that happen with real jeeps.  Stupid trying to use a jacked up station wagon for real 4x4 stuff.

I love early broncos! I'd like to get one but the price is inflated for any that aren't 90% rust.

Right now I wheel this



It could use better tires and a locker, but it gets me just about anywhere around here.

Right around 7,000 pounds, I believe.  A bit more for the wagon, a bit less for the pickup.
