anyone watch discovery last night?

It had a series of military equipment matchups
the Brit 18 pounder vs the German howitzer artiliery
the Camel vs the DR1
the sherman vs the tiger tank
the spit1 vs the 109e fighter
the Mig15 vs the F86

The Spit vs the 109 was very well done.
It included pilots from both sides and a fellow named Buster Brown who flies both in airshows.

Yes, I saw it. Very good programing, very informative. The matchup between the M-16 and AK-47 was good stuff too.

I was very impressed by the AK47's stopping power. The test they ran with the two wooden beams strapped together was wild stuff.
