Any new Civil War Games out?

Real Time Strategy ones?

It's hard to find any good Strategy games set in the civil war I got one, and the CD won't work for it..:lol  Came out about 95/96.

Waiting for the Setup to work, it's on the taskbar just not doing anything.

I can remember playing several older ones but nothing good has come out lately... seems the fps generation has taken over from the grognards.
There are two dream games I would like to see. First is a massive grand strategic simulation of the entire civil war from the economy level to transporting, supplying, and training, and then when combat occurs breaking it down into a battle similar to the Talonsoft civil war series games. The second would be a 3d realtime simulation of the naval aspect of the American Civil War similar to the old Yaquinto's Ironclads boardgame. Lots and lots of detail and stacks of paperwork involved with the boardgame but it absorbed many a night while I was in high school (played some of my teachers) and also in the local wargaming club when we absolutely tired of Squad Leader.

well, its not a video game, but its a lot of fun.....
Civil War Online

Its pretty in depth, with near 100 players, but its a PBEM with a program that helps with orders and stuff and show the map.

I just made full General in the CSA.

Oh, and there is supposed to be a full game like DmdBT describes that is ready to go, but no one will market it.  Wish I could find that website again.

I think you guys will like this one. I'm a betatester for it (one of the reasons I havent been around much lately) and it is scheduled for release fall 2003.

Victoria spans the 1835-1920 time period. Lots of interesting wars took place within that timeframe... And some of you americans might want to check out what state was an independent nation in 1835...

Nothing beats the Talonsoft "Battleground" Civil War games in my mind. I still play Battleground Gettysburgh. Highly recommended!
