Newb engine question
« on: September 21, 2003, 11:20:53 AM »
Hi,

I'm on the free trial deal right now and have a newb question.

After a few minutes flight the engine cuts out.  No visual or audio cues, no overheating (still in yellow).

Can it be lack of fuel ?  I'm sure it can't be that even with half fuel i'm sure a P-51 can stay up for more than 10 minutes.

What can it be ?

My guess is that you have changed the fuel selector switch somehow by mistake and when that tank runs dry the engine stops.

Yeah, try changing the fuel selectors-shift f (I think, I rebound it to a different key, forget what default it)

lol may be the fuel selector remembre skip between the fuel tank, using shift+f but remember, just for now, select everithing corrisponding to that

    " A- xxx"

i mean do not matter what u choose instead be carefull that the beginning must be an "A-"

that will enscure u an automatical fuel switch when u are going to finish that  tank

later try to learn how much fuel can carry your plane and also how
many (and where)  tank it has....:D to be able to enjoy flying without automatic fuel on:cool:
