Equinox Hatching?
« on: September 21, 2003, 05:03:14 PM »
Remember the autumnal equinox Tuesday Sept. 23 -- when the sun crosses the equator making night and day equal length in all parts of the Earth (Webster's New World Dictionary).

Is there any more auspicious third quarter timing for our favorite eagerly anticipated best game in the history of the universe?

About 4 p.m. GMT (11 a.m. EDT, 10 a.m. CDT)?

Wouldn't it just be funny as hell if they didn't announce it at all and just made it appear as a new terrain download but forced us to reboot. Sure it would only surprise a few at the beginning but some of us who don't get to see the board every minute of the day would get a kick out of it.

Okay, AH II officially was not released in the summer of 2003.  Now they have until Dec. 21 to make it an autumn release.  Oh wait, they said third quarter ... only one week left ... 168 hours ... 10,080 minutes ... but who's counting?

Don't you think people will think something is up when they have to download a 40mb (made up number) map?

For all us season change addicts, let's hope now we see AHII, at least Classic, in time for the winter solstice Dec. 21.
