Bases and their destroyable parts

I can only assume you are going to have runways,ammo dumps, fuel, ack, radar towers hangers and the like at bases.

What is going to be the affect of getting these things destroyed?

In airwarrior, if your fuel is damaged, your plane flies like crap..with 30% or so horsepower loss when your fuel gets hit.

Maintenence being hit results in fewer "hit points" per plane and higher chance of fuel leak or oil leak when you take off from the damaged base.

Ammo results in less ammo being in your plane.

They have it so that if an aircraft factory is hit, then that plane type is not available. (currently this is not implimented due to whining, but its in the code)

Is AH going to have similar effects??

Similar but not the same type of effects.

If you do a search on HiTech and Strat you will find a detailed write up of how the strat system will work in the end.
