I have a dream..
« on: September 23, 2003, 12:23:39 AM »
I had a dream..(I'm not joking at all, i really did) A dream that AH2's refurbished B17 was flying next to IL2 FB's soon-to-be AI B17.. ours looked better..

In other news, i've been looking to build myself a new puter for AH2.. Well, my puter is so old, crappy, and the hard drive/mobo is actually ATTACHED to the case (unremovable) By dell, i'm pretty much getting a whole new computer, since the old mobo couldnt even support the new processor..

B452-1105  Just4PC Mid Tower Case w/ 425 Watt Power Supply

THD-1200A2 P  Seagate 120GB / 7200 / 8MB / 9.3 / ATA-100 EIDE Hard Drive

CP2-P4-2800BNC  Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz / 512K Cache / 533MHz FSB/ Socket 478 / Processor

2x CORSAIR 512MB PC3200 VALUE SELECT. VS512MB400 DDR RAM - OEM

Asus Motherboard for Intel P4 Processors Model P4PE-X Retail

Creative Labs Sound Blaster® Audigy™ LS PCI Sound Card, Model SB0312 - Retail

is all new, only thing i'm not buying new is the GeForce FX 5200, next upgrade i go for would be an ATI card, but that won't be for months.

Grand total $744 and somesuch cents, shipping included, i'll be assembling it all meself (Dog help me).. How the hell i'm gonna get the money is beyond me, but i neeeeeeeeed my AH in lush graphics.. :D

Might not be as far fetched as you think.  Look at the cannon barrels on the Hurricane Mk IIc in IL2:FB and then look at the cannon barrels on the Hurricane Mk IIc in AH.

In that one instance, ours are better in AH1.

Who know what AH2 will bring.

(The cockpits are the place IL2:FB really shines)
