Shane: Joystick settings

Shane have you made any joystick setup tweaks in the AH setup or did you accept the default settings and fly the game as it is? I'm not sure if tweaking your settings is gaming the game or just good practice. In real life, most planes take a gentil steady hand and hours of seat time to get the "Feel". :)

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

oh yeah, i've made a lot of changes to the AH defaults...

the default views blow... reset them all to *my* way.
mapped my kb and j/s to my satisfaction.

i used to scale the j/s but now it's 100% across all axii... with sufficient deadband and dampers on each to reduce nose bounce to a manageable level.

nothing *gamey* about tweaking your stick to your preference... it's part of the AH package, unlike futzing with gamma...
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
I'm not perfect, but I am closer to it than you are.
