Sure you are talking about "Battle of Britain"?  That was the movie with Christopher Plummer, Michael Caine and a few others.

What is the best WWII movie? Watched Memphis Belle tonight for the 7th time probably but am looking for something more a2a.

While Geeman was making his transition from WB's to AH, just turning 5 yrs. old, I watched Memphis Bell with him, it scared the crap outta him!    It dawned on him that in real life, people did die...
