And what he said ^ abouts Beck's, what a nasty beer:D

Edit: Yeah, I know most US beer is nasty also, but I drink Red Hook, Sierra Nevada etc etc.       Not disimilar to a Newcastle Brown or Samuel Smith Ale

was in a Sunderland a few days ago, that has a toilet, and even a mini workshop for minor repairs.

H8K "Emily" had them.

I'd be very surprised if the B-29 didn't.  It had bunks after all.

As to fighters, well, you should have gone before flying.  But if you have to go, you have to go.  You'll have a pretty unpleasant mess to deal with though.

B17s had a bucket you could poop in, and a small tube that you could urinate in.

Quite a few airmen died from eating foods that caused gas.  At 30,000 feet their intestines could and sometimes would burst.

Every time I read that it freaks me out. I keep picturing a german spy infiltarting the 8th Air corp as a cook and feeding all the men chilli for supper....:(

There was a story about a co-pilot (I think) of a B17 who would hold off pooping until over Germany on every mission.  Just before the bomb run he would relieve himself into a bag of some sort and when the bombs were dropped he dropped that out too.

He called it the schiese bomb or something...someone posted it a while back.
