About the USA Womens soccer team playing very well in the World Cup? 3 and 0 now after beating Sweden, Nigeria and the N.Koreans.

The reason I ask is our WUSA soccer league is about to fold. It was formed after the last womens world cup and they had very high hopes for it. Are womens sports in Europe any more popular than here?

Women's football in the UK is very under-developed - I believe the situation is mirrored across Europe. Everything is geared towards the men's game, from kids upwards.

However, things have started to change - girls are playing more football at school instead of traditional women's sports like hockey etc. But if you want to go professional as a femal football player, the US is still seen as the place to go.

Uh, not likely women will ever break into pro football here in the US. Perhaps you meant soccer? ;)

Now, if I said you were a Flame, that would have been unoriginal

Relax, No one took a shot at your "Woman" whom I've never seen. I would never do that.

I made a general  jest about "Women" you date. (Which you obviously don't as you are now a 1 woman man.)

Show above post to said significant other in case your ever accused of cheating.

I didn't take it seriously - hence the ;).

I was seeing somone else when I started seeing her, but they came along pretty much simultaneously so it wasn't my fault. But the lying got old very quickly, one of them was a bit inhibited in bed and I also felt like a schmuck (well, maybe not ;)). So now there's just one. Which is nice.

I tried dating more than one woman at a time when I was much younger.

Too confusing, and way too expensive.

Yeah it was getting expensive. I liked the challenge of keeping two consistent, parallel stories going - but was increasingly struggling. It wasn't fair on either of them - but it was very much a one off.

Not unless there is nudity, or at least underwear again.  :)

It was big here in Columbus where the two matches were played.  It was a sell-out and they interviewed fans that drove up to 12 hours away to get to the matches.

As much as I like to support the USA teams in the World Cups, I just can't get into women's soccer.  The pace is too slow and they just don't seem to get enough on the ball.

I hear one of the reasons the USA women's league lost money compared to the MLS was that MSL fans (men) drink much more beer than WUSA fans (women) therefore stadium concessions profits were drastically lower.
