worlds most frustrating coincidence
« on: September 29, 2003, 09:20:20 PM »
I finished my main arena map. done finito finished. I go to email it to dux to do a quick  clipboard map and server drops the email and wont take the upload...

i figure my email is toast so I switch to another email, sam thing wont take the upload, I switch to a yahoo email, internet connection hangs when trying to add attachments...

I call Road runner tell them whats happening and that after each email or internet dropoff the cable conx light blinks off and wont come back till a min or two later.

they say they will send a technician out tomorrow to fix it and that the internet signal throgh the cable line is to weak to support any transfers of any significant size without hanging and disconecting completely then resesting a few minutes later.

so after almost 5 hours of frustration after doing all this work to get this Arena finished before AH2 is out the cable modem decides it no longer wants to upload anything.

so here I am sitting with my hands tied and a brand new main arena sitting in front of me that I cant send. my monitor almost got the baseball bat treatment but i instead just did the camron fry ferris beullers day off scream that could be heard for miles.

well hope the tech can fix it tomorrow

Set up a FTP or HTTP server or use KaZaa lite or some other filesharing program.

You have a poltergeist in the house.

Call and Exercist!

or you have a woman in the house?
Throw her out side - she's a Jenoah! Bad luck!
