I've got a few possibilities here.

1) Mia failed his check ride, and the FI shot him down so he crawled inside a bottle somewhere, and shortly thereafter drove his pick-up into a bridge abuttment

2) Mia Failed his check ride, but his FI gave it up, so he's nose deep in Pooooo-haaaaa right now, not thinking of us for second.

3) Mia Passed his check ride, but his FI shot him down, and he's sitting in his car right now, sipping on some Cuervo, thinking about a creative way to off himself in such a manner that the FI feels guilty for the rest of her life.

My money is on 3.

or drowning his sorrows?

Oh geez...  I just thought about it, if Mia really goes through with it, then the logical next step (I use the word logical to describe what, based on his past record of decision making indicates, Mia will do) would be for him to show her this message thread.

Oh, I would not advise showing her this message thread.  Woman do NOT like to be talked about with others as a general rule, and they want to know everything FIRST.  Not after you shared it on the internet with a bunch of strange strangers.

I hope it all turned out well for the guy.

He can not be so obtuse to show her this thread! That has disaster clearly written all over it!

I am waiting with baited breath as well..

Who knows maybe he got lucky and she dropped the Zero and got with the hero and Mia is out having fun right now... lol...

This thread is far far more interesting than some silly old WB vs AH mudslinging. :) :)

I'm hooked on this thread like my wife gets hooked on Lifetime movies on Sundays!

I hoping for the best for ya MIA!

Remember my post a few months ago about the "bullpen"?
Mia389 IS the bullpen.

I just hope that right now he's got his ticket punched in more ways than one, not collapsed sobbing in a pool of his own vomit.

We should have gotten his cell number. This is far too important to make us wait like this. I'm normally the lone optimist but this will be an exception. I'm guessing the checkride went ok but the chat afterward consisted of a "your sweet and all but you got your signals crossed and I wish you all the best" speech.
