Woooooooooooooooooooot!

:)

....While on Vacation on the Jersey shore with family the first couple weeks of september, I checked email and found out about Rod's situation, I felt so restricted cause i couldnt jump in the game and talk to squadies,  I spoke of my Buddy's problem to friends and family, and they didnt recognize his name, so i told em it was a friend of mine from that game I play, someone ive never met, and have no idea what he even looks like, but we been flyin together for years, and know the names of our kids and what we do for a living ,etc etc, they seemed bewildered as did I a bit, Intresting how friendships can build, cya soon Rod

Um, can someone explain to me why this is good news?

No I don't mean Rod doesn't deserve some good news or anything, but......I dunno, maybe any medically minded people on this board can explain it but when I read "they got all but a bit of the tumor ."  I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling.

So, the fella has 'a bit' of a tumor embedded in his spine?

What's the prognosis on that bit?  Will it continue to grow and spread or do they expect it to be benine?

It is great news compared to the original prognosis.  Perhaps Chemotherapy can zap what is left and he can make a full recovery....

This is really good news:D

For what it may be worth, Escafe I have a close personal friend that went through similar surgery and chemo with an advanced and very new "chemo cocktail". He is in complete remission despite a negative outlook 5 years ago. If you think its worthwhile, we could get them in touch with one another?

i should clairfiy that at no time did i mention the tumor as a cancerous tumor that info i was never privy to and since it wasnt
brought to my attention as cancerous im assuming its a benign
tumor that had to do with the wrecking ball he took to the back a few agos yes no joke a real wrecking ball im assuming that the tumor was a threat to his spine and pain levels  so while 100%
removal wasnt worth the risk to his back getting as  possible then using other methods of killing the rest would be the best method

Great to hear something positive about his situation. I'll continue praying for him. Hope to blast his Tiger off face of planet in not to distant future. Sorta depressing not having to worry about him camping a spawn point. Got used to jumping in fright when spawning.
