Have you ever heard about Fighter AceII?

Guys, may be I don't understand something, but what is so special about Aces High? What makes it different from another on-line flight sims? And $29.00 a month seems to be rediculus, Fighter Ace is a much better game and it is only $10 a month. Please don't get offended, I'm not saying AH is a bad game, but to my look it looses to its competitors and has higher price or may be I don't know something if so, please explain.

FA doesn't even fit into category of simulators. It's probably one of the worst attempts at simulating anything...

You can't even compare those two products. Unless you don't really care about realism in which case you're right - FA is the place..

I checked out FA2 few days ago. In and out of the HD in 30 minutes flat. Pathetic.

AW3 is better then FA and has the same price.

Dima.. there is simply no comparison between 'simulations' like Aces High and Warbirds, and even to some extent 'Air Warrior', and 'games' such as 'Fighter Ace'.

AH, WB and AW always attract a completely different crowd from those who flock to FA.

And that is just great IMHO.

This flight model would be in a similar bracket to warbirds (they have the same creators)

This is a link to a website that reviews flight models not the game see what they say about warbirds.  www.pctestpilot.com

Welcome to the world of simulation give it a chance and be rewarded 100 fold.

 You cant be serious?!?
I really dont want to start putting any sim...er game down but even if Figher Ace was free I still wouldnt play it. I tried  a flight "sim?" on my brothers playstation and it was at least as good if not better.

I have never seen a game that sucks as much as Fighter Ace II.  I deleted it after 15 minutes of playing.  The graphics were circa 1994-95 quality (e.g., before 3-D).  No realism whatsoever, althought the Lancaster is tempting.  It could carry 24x500lb bombs.  What REALLY sucked was that the bombs were dropped four at a time, enabling the Lancaster to hit only six targets.

Dima(dozen),

You don't seem to understand.   When you feel a tug on the line you have to jerk hard to set the hook.  But be careful.  When you get one really frothing at the mouth you have to give him some line and play him a little.  For instance, I sense Curly circling your bait right about now. (LoL! J/K)

Fighter Ace is an Arcade style game like AW3.
Neither of the 2 can compete with AH or WB in flight, damage and balistics modeling. Allthough AH being is in beta, there are a few things that still need tweaking.Really would like to see balistics dispertion soon.

TTs uber Spit,La5,N1K2 are all massively over modeled & need to be toned down to the level of the p51

"Fighter Ace" is Xwing vs Tie Fighter in wimps clothing.
The only redeeming value the sim has is as a breeding ground for cannon fodder in the more realistic flight sims. When those guppies realise there is more out there beyond that stagnant duck fugg puddle pond they wallow in they come around to where the big fishes cruise.
The flight <cough> model sukks. The graphics blow. And the community is predominately
