Shrinking screen
« on: October 01, 2003, 04:58:17 AM »
I have an ATI 7500 card and a Samtron 98BDF 19" monitor.

AH seems to play ok but when I'm looking at windows as I am now I can see the screen resizing or floating at the bottom. I have walked up and found the screen so big I couldn't see the task bar at the bottom and resized it. After a few minutes it was too small and I had to resize again.

I don't see this in-game or when I'm playing other games with my kids. I am concerned this resizing is screwing with my aim when I fly because some days I cant hit squat and others I kill everything within D1.5 of me.

With AH2 coming soon I would like to resolve this issue if possible.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like the monitor is a bit iffy.

BTW that should NOT effect your shooting at all. Gunsight is centered in view, no matter what size you see it should still always be centered.

Instead work on getting close, then get closer, then AIM for a specific point on the plane.

(don't flock shoot, & don't spray & pray.
Pick your point & HIT it)
