In light of the Rush episode I would like to say..
« on: October 02, 2003, 07:37:15 PM »
When did we all become such little girls that we can't handle a little criticism?

All of a sudden no one can voice an opinion with out someone being “offended”

Let me ask you…quick think of someone in history,

Okay.

Now let me ask you did HE/SHE over piss anyone off. I bet they did.
My point is no one leads without offending someone. But they lead regardless.

2 reasons....

1. People hate rush wether he is right or wrong

2. He's white and white people are just supposed to sit here and be white and not say anything at all about other races.

1) He annoyed people by taking the subject away from sports, which is what he was supposed to be talking about.

2) Lefties are hurting, and they blame Rush because he is an evil demon from hell who brainwashes simple minded people into thinking that Hillary Clinton is not our Savior.

He made himself a big fat target with his own rhetoric, and provided the ammunition to shoot down his own psuedo-itellectual, shock-politic rantings.  He is a smart man, but also a pompous ass.

He forgot to step out of his radio persona before heading to the ESPN studios that day.

Mcnabb was 75% of the eagles offense in 2000 and 79% of the offense in 2001. The eagles would not have been in the playoffs without him.

I can't believe you defend what he said. It was wrong. He should apologize like any decent person would.

The majority is not allowed to point out the unfair catering to the minority.

If a majority wins, the minority insists the majority must give since, after all, some voted for the minorities ideas.

This just reminds me of the Senate win by the Republicans, with the Dems insisting the Republicans agree to certain things.  Yet when they were the majority, no such compromises were ever tabled.  They were the majority, period, and their agenda was it.

You also are not allowed to point out the obvious.  That is evil and mean spirited.

But anyways...ask me wht I think of only Indians be allowed to sprout open casinos up here...

I think he was right.

Uh Oh I'm in trouble now!

Vick and Culpepper(sp) are really good but Stewart?

Rush may be a dick but he DOES have a point.(maybe not about McNabb)

The media goes on and on about how great all the Black quarterbacks are but I hate to tell you.....some really suck.

And when did the Eagles start plying without a Defence. Runing backs, wide receivers

Gunslinger: 2. He's white and white people are just supposed to sit here and be white and not say anything at all about other races.

The windbag was not really making comments about "other races". He was just alleging that certain media was racially biased.

So white people should just sit there and never mention the word race at all.
