HOT DAMM

Fargo Iron & Metal here I come!

Maybe have to have a bit bigger base so as not to cause divots. Band around the top to mount a couple of adjustable folding legs shouldn't be too complicated.

Hmmm or maybe a golf ball swivel gun.

Keep thinking weight Ghost... anything you add is just going to get heavier and heavier!

I still think it was pretty cool...

I'm betting that there is probably some law somewhere promoted by Ashcroft that prohibits this type of activity.

Looks a lot like terrorist training to me... ;)

should be very easy to do, and not add much weight.  they make pipe-hangers for all sizes of pipe.  just 2 pices of flat bar bent to half-rounds witha bolt on either end holding it together.

if you set the hanger with the bolts on either side(horisontaly) you could even attach your legs to the bolts.

you could even just weld legs onto it, just warm the pipe up to about 300 deg before welding and then about 250 after you're done. that should stop any stress from weakening the pipe.  (black posder burns fairly quick though, so I doubt youd have much stress twards the end of the barrel, which is where you'd attach legs anyway)

maybe an adjustable bi-pod on the front with a protractor and plumbob attached to the barrel, so you could work up some angle/load=range charts.

damn I may have to build one myself after I heal up.  would be fun to try and hit targets with a bowling ball.

you're probibly right there.  just about every time you find something fun to do, there's usualy a guy from the gov't right behind you trying to screw it up.

I can see the headline now.

"terrorists plan to attack city with bowling balls,  300 alley owners and empoyees jailed as acomplices,  ashcroft calls for bowling ban, schools adopt zero tolorance program for suspected bowlers"

That is so true! God bless you, we finally agree.

When "they" finally regulate bowling balls, and bowling clubs, and you need a $200 federal licence to bowl, in the name of Homeland Security, we will all be perfectly safe.

Of course bowling alley owners will go broke finger printing bowlers that have access to these blunt weapons of impossible destruction, costing thousands of jobs in the bowling entertainment sector, but we all will be safe from these evil mortars!

Look, Americans will always want to drink booze, look at porn, and enjoy loud bangs on the 4th. Who as a kid hit a full cap of capgun ammo with a hammer?!

Does Ashcroft really think diffrent? If he does, I want to fire him. How would THAT vote proceed?
