Gray Davis is on Larry King right now.  He's not defending himself.  He (and his wife) are attacking Arnold for his "attitude and actions towards women."

I also find it somewhat naseuating that he's offering soooooo many excuses for what happened.  If these were identified and recognized problems then he should have dealt with them already.

I find this a little disingenuous.  I would find it a little more sincere if he:

a) defending his record and actions
b) attacked someone else but the front running republican
c) comitted hari kari
d) admitted he screwed up trying to please everyone
e) pleaded that he would try to do better

Sure, catch-22. Anyone who wants to get out of California Governor's race isn't really crazy, so they must keep running for Governor. I can't let them drop out.

Okay, let me see if I got this straight. In order to get out of the Governor's race I've got to be crazy, and I must be crazy run for Governor of California. But, if I ask to drop out of the race, that means I'm not crazy anymore, and I have to keep running.

That's some catch, that catch-22.

Grays campain advisor once said he hates the "PUKE bombs" that Davis troughs at people just before the election. Hens the story in the LA Times (shilling for Davis). I'll pull the quots on monday. I left them at work.
I also heard that the LA times held the story for two weeks for max. damage. A LA T report was on O'Riley's show with that story.

O' and for Davis on Larry King. don't worry 6 people watch that show.

anyone who didn't know gray davis's first name would think it was a description when they first heard it.... anyone who knows anything about him would realize it was descriptive.

was anyone ever more aptly named?   Could Ayn Rand have created a better character with a better name than..... gray davis?

It would have me laughing every time I heard it if I didnnt live in California.

Arnie wants to make the climate good for business in Ca... If he makes it good for business it will follow that it will be good for the rest of us.

Come to think of it.... All of California is getting to be a poor imitation of an Ayn Rand novel... time for the pendulum to swing back the other way.

This attack on Arnold is just business as usual for ol' Grey. I hope someone in the mainstream press picks up This Story soon and runs it to death.

The attacks just sealed my opinion once and for all. I will now vote FOR the recall and FOR Arnold. Grey Davis has committed political suicide as far as I'm concerned.
