I've got to say that last night I saw some of the best offense, defense and all of that!
1) I was flying for Bishops and was a hi alt B-17 wandering into KnitLand...then I saw Ghosth racking up 5 kills in a row..that made be stay in the ball turrent and look around a lot! Nicely done, Ghosth!
2) I know the Bish were loosing turf last night, like a bad realtor, but the players there were great. I was flying Buffs and had more guys throwing me Check Six's and such than I can ever recall. It was just real pleasing to know that the fella's you are flying with are checking out for you. Doesn't happen all the time and its great when you can be there to experience it.
3) To the newbie Rook who shot me down over his CV...great shooting! As I was death spiraling down, I was heading right into the CV and dump eggs just for the heck of it, then hit the chute. Nice to see the CV sinking while floating down...even if the acks creamed me a few seconds later. I wish I'd filmed that sortie, if anything, its hilarious.
4) To the guys at A2, wow, what a bizarre battle. First we had too many goons, then zero. Then, when we had the base leveled, the VH came alive and 6 ground vehicles made a run for it, hiding all over the base. Fly your plane in low over 2 and you'd think they were celebrating the 4th of July down there! I have no idea if we ever pried it from the Knits but what an amazing turn of events and ground battle that ensued.
Thanks for the good time last night, my arse hurt from sitting in front of the computer all night!
