excuse me -when they pass out a drivers license to people who look like they are just breathing and pilots license to people because they pay enough and allow these people to keep them until they kill themselves and someone else, who has the right to say (when they dont know what happened) yeager shouldnt fly?

Odds of yeager flying his plane into my car are a lot less than the stupid person driving a 2 ton weapon.

I flew with PH Spencer, the Sea Bee designer, when he was in his 90's. He showed me his licence, signed by Orville Wright. Soloed a 'loughead' (old spelling for Lockheed) sea plane in the 20's, with no dual time. He was still going strong then... age has nothing to do with it.

And,... I leave the runway everytime I take off. So what is the problem?

Even out of context of the argument, that story was pretty cool, Holdy. "See Bee" not "Gee Bee?" I'm not familiar with the former.

Just showing that old doesn't mean dangerous. Remember the saying about old pilot and bold pilots?

The Sea Bee was the plane that James Bond flew to the island in "The man with the Golden Gun."

Then the evil genious proved his incredible evilness by destroying the Sea Bee with his solar weapon.
