I have stopped and thought about it. Easymode planes are popular! Not too challenging, shallow learning curve.... but oh! The noobs still have to learn to shoot! Unlike the CHog, it's not possible to spray a 30° cone of death (or whatever DMF called it)in these planes, except maybe the N1K which is also good for creating HO opportunities. :lol

Another aspect that needs to be taken into account ...

M-16 : 1.63%
M-3 : 0.40%
M-8 : 0.35%
Ostwind : 6.21%
Panzer : 9.83%
Ship Gun : 4.86%
Tiger : 3.25%
LVT-2 : 0.21%
LVT-4 : 0.19%
Chute : 0.47%
C-47 : 0.09%

with a grand total of 27.49% of all the kills !!!

being a data analyzer type, I'd like to see what the correlation is between plane use and map set [not asking, but would be interesting]. Very nice work!

Apache :) Sorry, I've been too hard on your Yak9U. Well, I tend to fly midwar planes (Or at least mid-range of the AH planeset - big difference - LOL). I thought Yak9U was Big Five, but it isn't. It's P51/SpitIX/LA7/N1K/TYPH. If Yak9U is not big five and not a designated dweeb ride, I might fly it myself!

Haven't taken a look at the 'stats' yet, but that vaunted 20+% of the percentage of kills in the MA was for everything.  Fighter Kills, buff kills, GV kills.  AFAIK, Mini-D doesn't take that into account, all he does is fighter vs fighter kills.  So if a plane got 6% of the fighter to fighter kills... that only means... well... nothing, if you are looking for the percentage of total kills made by something.

Only true dweebs designate airplanes as "dweeb rides".

Normal folks just call them "targets".

But do those dweebs fly those designated dweeb planes? Probably not...

Look at the stats before making mistatements urchin.

The charts are for total kills... not fighter vs fighter kills.  The small tables on each plane's page breaks it down against bombers, fighters and GVs and the Fighter vs Fighter page shows what % of fighter kills each plane had.  The charts, however, are simply total kills.

No, apparenly they fly other ez mode aircraft and feel all manly about that because they pay a pitiful few perks for their EZ mode.

Dweebs are dweebs before they ever click a button in the AH hangar. Once again, it's the pilot, not the plane.

mini d great stats! thx for all the work on this and the pilot score pages very good stuff

as for the gvs and panzer with so many its because there is only 1 unperked tank in ah.

when HTC adds the sherman (i hope its a firefly or at least an option for a cheap perk firefly) here will be more variety. hell the sherman alone could be turned into many different versions... 17 pounder 76mm 75mm 105mm, maybe even caliopy rocket launcher version?  :)

there are many tanks on par with the panzer. t34-85 and sherman probably best adversaries though. panther could be a cheap perk tank.

only problem w t34 76 is its balistics and shells not nearly as good as the panzer IV and it would get clobbered at longer ranges. but graphicswise its only turret changes for all these tanks to add both versions :)

We're used to it, Urch. We know the compulsion to complain about any and everything whether you've seen or experienced it or not is strong in you. And we accept you for it. :D
