How much you figure i'll be able to overclock a P4 2.6 FSB800 with hyperthreading, 1 gig of Corsair DDR RAM and a GeForce FX 5200?

Depends on the cooling and power supply.  Should be be able to hit 3Ghz with the stock HSF, if the power supply has enough oomph.

But you are already video card bottlenecked at the stock CPU speed.

3.0 should be easy, currently running a 2.4c at 1:1 fsb 500 mhz which makes it 3.0 upped the core volts to 1.6 and its prime stable.

To make it to 3.0 with a 2.6 you are going to need ram capable of running at DDR460 mhz if you want to run at 1:1 anyway.

My RAM is Pc3200, so i don't think that's that big of a problem.. power supply 420 watts

Actually it could be a BIG problem PC3200 Corsair is rated to run at DDR400 mhz in other words the minimum needed to run an 800fsb processor.

Corsair quote the PC3700 as being rated for DDR466 mhz, now obviously you will get some room to manouver but i doubt you will make DDR440 mhz with your current memory, however if you slacken off the memory timings you may get lucky.

PC4000 is rated for DDR500 mhz.
