Force field? :) Cool. But, don't stop there. Also have alien attacks from outer space, with AI flying saucers. And, have huge blobs (not referring to FDBs here) that roam around on the ground consuming tanks and other GVs. Have live, AI-controlled giant squids that can pull CVs/ships under, unless killed first. And, create special targets, that when killed give the killer "Populous" type powers (the ability to create swamps with tank-swallowing quicksand, earthquakes, etc.).

Killing VH's in Tank Town I don't think is especially sporting and I don't do that. However I don't see anything wrong with flying there to kill some airplanes that are.  Flying aircover cap for GV's can be a fun sort of mission, and if you are going to fly all that way you would be silly not to bring some ord along should the opportunity present itself to "get some".

I really don't think too many people are upset about planes flying around in tank town but, they do get upset when those planes go around puttin the vehicle hangers down.  Why do it? why take bases in tank town? Like many have said tank town is suppose to be the OK Corral, a pure Hogan's Alley so let it be. Maybe the VH's in tank town should be invincible and that would solve a few problems.

HT why don't you make a "force field" around tank town so if
a plane crosses it, they blow up and the whole arena sees a

BTW I took a 51D there today to try and run off a 38, and the
38 got my wing. Looked like a HO, but that could just be my
prospective.

Sure they are. Fly in some bombs, hit a few gv's and watch the sparks fly on ch1. That's the beauty of it really.

If the powers that be really wanted TT to be isolated from the airwar the first thing they should do is eleminate the spawns into and especially out of the crater.

Only time I go over the rim is when Tank Town VHs are attacking airfields outside the crater.

Then I will go over to kill the VH and troops. If they attack out of the crater again we kill it and take it.

I believe if the spawns into and out of TT crater were gone a good majority of planes into the crater would stop.

So when the JABOs show up more than likely someone from TT has exited thier sancuary and stirred the hornets nest.

If it wasnt for the spawns into, if some dweeb decides to pork and take all those fields, there's no way you're gettin one back, unless you climb a goon to 25k.. doubt it'll happen.
