It looks cool.

Hi rez textures are nice, but when push comes to shove, I'd rather have a higher poly count.

But wouldn't a higher polygon count imply higher resolution?  I'm kinda confused...

Not really Brick,

The polygon count stays the same for any given scene at all resolutions. If you have 2000 polys at 640, you are still going to have 2000 polys at 1024.

But the texture requirements go up as you increase resolution.
