Would be really cool to be able to have short range (maybe just icon range) radio channel com with the enemy.  

Saw that "Black Sheep" episode recently where ol' Papy was talking to the Japanese Ace and wondered how neat that woudl be in game.

Just allow the channel and (of course) make it squelchable - perhaps even squelched by default so as to avoid offending anyone.

That would work quite well if not for the pre-pubescent 12 year old tough guys. I can't imagine what they would say... But hey, I've been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again ;)

I met him years ago in Chicago when he was filming Boy's Town and he had his pressurized Piper hangered where my Dad kept his Cessna 402, short yes, but braved the Rockies in a single engine Piper alone, not too shabby in my books....
