Yeah, that was pretty cool that they did that.  After all, one of them DID cost the Cubs the series.

Hehehehehehe...;)

Gotta say: I can't stand Cubs fans. I live in proximity to Cubs fans, to such a degree that the class I taught tonight was in a "multimedia classroom" -- projection screen, PC, DVD, VCR, pornpipe (thankfully no cable or broadcast). Game started about 1/3 of the way through class.  Yes, I took the breaks to give updates. No I didn't enjoy it.
But I did appreciate the applause when the Marlins clinched. Not crazed fans, but polite appreciation.   guys.

It would have been nice to see the Cubs in the Series, but I had to root for Pudge. Being a long suffering Rangers fan, it was nice to see him finally make it and get the credit he deserves.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

I was hoping the Cubs would break the curse and make it, but I've also got to say I think the marlins are a better team...they really did a great job coming back from behind and winning the tough games

both teams

I wonder if that poor cub fan is still alive?  News said he was under police protection?

Yeah, cruiser outside his house 24 hours a day right now (most of my extended family is in Chicago).  Apparently there are 2-3 news choppers that have been circling his house since the night after the ill considered reach.

I think that after that catch, the Cubs lost thier focus.

I feel sorry for that guy.

Cubs hat $15

New headphones $45

Causing the cubs to lose their chance at the world series: priceless

if they lost their focus then they shouldn't be playing professional sports.  They blew it, they choked bigtime.....that fan didnt cause all those runs.....crappy pitching did.

The cub fan has been offerd, from what I hear from my dad, a vacation to South Florida for a couple of months.
