GUN FLASH effect doenst leave when the light source is gone....its like a spotlight on your plane until you move your persective

Spitfire IX has what looks like entire skin in X form (like the cheapo trees in 3d programs) as gunflash at 1024x768 out of left gun.  Looks OK at 1600x1200

Spit IX has texture flashing on rear spin between tail and cockpit (looks like is seperate 3d damage model object just a bit too high showing thru

P51 gear doors have texture flash inside wheel wells

Lowering detail in video options tends to eliminate intruments, and upon further inspection, seems to put you INSIDE plane with OUTSIDE view (IE: the pilot is there :rofl )

detail issue shows me inside with 'a friend'.....we aint that close SKuzzy:D

109 seems to have ummmmm texturing issues.

Tank has missing textures on shifter and main cannon.

If you could run DXDIAG and report the driver version number it will help ALF.  Thanks.

Well partial good news....the Messed up 109 textures seem to have been an unknown anomoly.  They persisted thru 5 or so flights, but upon restart of AH2...they are gone.

The DETAIL SETTING causing the exterior style view just real close up is still there.

Also the GIN FLASH staying there seems to be a P51 only issue (from what Ive seen)

tracers
« Reply #6 on: October 15, 2003, 05:36:56 PM »
tracers come from above and behind the plane.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
I'm not perfect, but I am closer to it than you are.
