good...it actuall looks fabulous from the air, but in those gv battles it looks god awful.

Would you rather have no cover to protect you from aircraft? As time passes, technology improves, and the computing power of the average subscriber increases, I am sure HT will make things even better.

HT is trying to give you GV'ers out there some air cover from people like me:D I wouldnt mind seeing a better model, however, the min sys requirements make some concesions necissary. You cannot add enough trunks without adding tons of load on the graphics processors (currently huge swatches are just one big texture, with little rendering overhead), adding trunks adds a 3rd dimentions and would add 100 fold to the processing power needed.

Not to mention that it would make navigating in a GV a real pain in the arse. Maybe theres something down the road...but for now, I think its going to be a learn to live with it situation.

I'm hoping for a little bit more detail in the trees. When your low flying at 300+ MPH, it is near impossible to tell where the trees actually are.
