k----always enjoy your observations!!!  never responded prior though.  i too am enthusiastic.  i had a chance to see the game at the convention because dale brought it.  what we're seeing is less honed that what i saw at the con.

also i'm glad to see my system seems to run it just fine.  too bad you don't fly bish k, would wing with you.

I tried some more, and was able to get some sort of a spin going, but just a little opposite aileron (no rudders needed) and the thing rights itself and flies on.

I was doing outside loops from 200 MPH, and no matter how hard I tried, it just wouldn't give me a departure from controlled flight.

I don't know exactly how a real one spins, but I know that it will spin horribly if you aren't careful.

What I like is that they've increased torque effects during takeoff.  If you jam the throttle to full military power from a standstill, not even full rudder input will keep you straight.  You now have to slowly increase throttle as you pick up speed, which is much more realistic, and feels better.

I agree with Kweassa that small-calibre tracers shouldn't have much of a visible spiral, just a more smoky effect.  Cannon tracers did have a visible spiral, but AH2 doesn't have them quite right yet.  Il-2 did it well by creating a dispersion effect for the tracers where the smoke would expand and dissipate with time, so it looks like a real smoke trail.  AH2's tracers look like long ribbons of swirling newspaper.

'Also, the Spit9 seems to roll slower, and the Fw190A-5 seems to roll faster. "
