I'll take the red ant any day. Even though its smaller it would be more manueverable and have a quicker acceleration allowing itself to strike and move quickly.
As for the A-10 I believe they are known to have taken hits to engines and critical areas with up to 37mm cannon shells from the ZSU and still make it back to base. Wasn't there a report of a female A-10 pilot over in Iraq that nursed one back after taking a SAM proximity blast?
