Newbie Equipment Question(s)

I posted this in my first post but I think it will get lost there.
Dusting off my old stuff right now. Got CH Pedals, CH Pro Throttle, and an old CH F16 combat stick. People still use this stuff? LOL! Hope I still have the stuff to install all this crap Fricking cat chew on my joystick cable. If I can't fix it what's a good stick these days. As I remember the trigger had worn out anyway (I was dubbed LeadPump for a reason, LOL) and I had to map it to another button.
Appreciate any suggestions. Second post and I'm talking about the best equipment, LOL! I'm *NOT* a troll, honest!

I have exactly the same setup. Works fine for AH. Between the programmable CH stuff, and the key/stick mapping in AH, you can make it do anything you want.

)...getting Mesh 1400 (AMD setup) with Geforce 3-512meg mem-7200 + 2 meg buffer H/D & all sorts of trimmings. Anyone else with a similar setup know of any probs with Aces High I should be aware of?
(oh- yes, I *am* feeling a bit smug too!

If ya can't get your stick working, give CH a call and see what they'll do for ya. You might be suprised...make sure you tell 'em about the cat, they'll love it!

I was thinking of getting a reconditioned Saitek before shelling out 250 pounds for a full CH set-up (I've got the CH USB pedals). Does it work yet with Win2000 (I heard there were problems)?. It's such good value if it does......
In the UK the new Thrustmaster Cougar (which looks fantastic and all metal) will be nearly 300 pounds and out in October!

What about Microsucks sticks? Any strong feelings either way on those?

MS FFB Pro1..Built like a Sturmovic. If you can still find one snap it up(Even if u have to buy a demo)It's unbreakable and better that FFB2 and FFB is great in AH.

MS Sidewinder Precision Pro.1
I've soaked it, dropped it, grinded it, stepped on it, had to disassemble and reassemble it.. but it still works like magic..

I use a
Logitech
Force FeedBack
stick with 6 buttons. I programed the buttons for Gear up, Gear down, Flaps up, Flaps Down, Call 6.
The only problem i have is sometimes when i get my butt waxed and have to bail my stick jerks all over the place. Enough to where i have to unplug the force feedback cord.

I use a Gravis Exterminator joypad heh heh
Its got a joystick type thing on it, does the job, got rudder and throttle and loads of buttons, and a hat switch, very compact.
Can be twitchy though, i hope to upgrade all my stuff soon.
