Check you're ram voltage in winbond.
You will find that the MAX3 sometimes gives a higher reading than it really is suppling.
MAX=3.2  Winbond=2.95
But i would for sure stay under 2.9 no need really to go over that.
I have mine set at 2.9 and it does everything i need it to.
Remember the more voltage the more HEAT!
Also you have choices of dividers 5:4 3:2 1:1
I am having to use 3:2 to get the 310FSB.
I am also using a modified BIOS that unlockes alot of features
in the BIOS.
I would give it to you but It will void you're warranty:(
Good advice go to Abits forums and poke around in there .

My only sugestion here is run it at default/standard clocking for the first few days or a week befor you start turning it up (overclocking) this give you time to get your basic operating software installed and tested , and its easier to fix if something does go wrong . (this is creating a known baseline for the machine)  along with watching the tempature's ect...

after this run in period . Then start cranking it up . (one adjustment at a time works best) :aok

Thats good advice let everything kinda "burn in".

Thnx a bunch mrblck, skuzzy and the rest.  My baby is up and running and shes purring like a kitten!!!  Windeos installed and running, internet up and running.  Putting in my gameing devices now.    I will leave everything alone for now, except I should prolly change the first boot device to the 1.44 and the cd-rom back to 3.  As questions arise over the next few months, I will post for some tweek hints.  A quick prliminary check in AH for frame rate revealed a dissappointing 59fps, but I soon realized this was the refresh rate of my old monitor.  I couldnt get the FPS under 59!  Rock solid.     Mrblack, the cupple changes you suggested after my first errors installing the software did the trick, Thnx a bunch and  :)
