CTD in CV hangar

I went into AH2, went to a CV (lowest on map).
After going to the hangar (and seeing no planes available to fly from the cv) the game crashed after about 5 seconds.
My specs are :
AMD Athlon 900 (133 FSB)
384MB RAM
Radeon 9600 card with 256MB RAM
Windows ME
DirectX 9.0

I am not sure, I couldnt test it thoroughly, but it might have to do with the plane you selected.

Go to a "normal" airfield, select a 109G10 and then go to the CV and start there. I think that worked for me while I couldnt have a spit selected in the hangar when on the CV.

Just an idea...
