To Shoot a chute,
or not to shoot?
A beaten dead-horse,,
the point is moot!

Good sports fly by
and tip a wing..
Others riddle the chute,
bada-boom, BADA-BING!

A binary image explodes on screen..
Chute'ist's get pissed,
and say things obscene.

To all I do say,
Lets' not scream & fight..
Fly thee a few hours,

Last night I found a con at 26k while I was 8k. I grabbed up to him. When I was just 1.4k away he saw me and bailed, though I got the proximity kill. He had the nerve to private me and insist I dont shoot his chute. I circled him for the few minutes it took him to descend to 1k and wiggled my wings all the while. Then I shot him.

It's not so much a question of shooting or not shooting the chute. It's more a question of where... inbetween the eyes, or in the gut?

Three more formations bailed last night. After three bailers I finally got fed up and shot a spy chute running around at 32. It felt good I have to admit. Then I ran into a 262 vs 262 fight at 44 and the guy ran to his ack and bailed over his field. Cheap.

Was defending A8 last night from a CV attack. Get a high deflection shot on a Spit and damage the oil. Reverse to get on his 6 and he bails over the field rather than fight to the death. After I do the "pop goes the weasel" thing he calls me a chute shooting wuss ...

I generally dont see guys bail....most of the people Ive mixed it up with ride it into the ground.

Can't recall shooting a chute in a long time. Had a guy bail at 20k once...thought about it...but decided I liked him better, stuck up there in the stratosphere, then on my 6

you *don't* shoot the chute unless you just want to waste ammo - aim for the dangling meatbomb below it.

hahaha... I usually shoot chutes for fun anyway, but I don't care if bad guy and I meet at 50k, if he bails RATHER THAN ENGAGE I'll waste every last round makin sure he goes pop.
