Dunno, but it would break my achy breaky heart.

Everytime he is mentioned I feel the anger of the guy in the bud light commercial. He is stranded on an island and bud light bottles wash ashore one after the other. He opens them in eagerness to suck down a nice cold budlight, only to find them empty with a note inside.

"Why, why do you torture me brian henderson of 12 maple lane!!!"

Actually New Zealand like Australia has been involved in every conflict from the Bore War to Korea,Vietnam and evey other conflict since, including the so called war on terror and Afghanistan.

Rightly we refused to send ground forces to Iraq but have offered other support. And will send troops once UN resolution is in place to do so.

So before you make some idiot statement that the country is too chicken. Try and take a moment of your time to actually check that countries history otherwise you just look the fool.

Since this is the first conflict since the countries begining that we haven't been activally involved in with Australia and Great Britain.

There are no better friends (except on the rugby field/cricket pitch) than Australians and New Zealanders. Infact I think it's being siblings that make our fights so bloody, and our stands together so undivided.
Perhaps its having bleed on the same ground together all these years...

All I know is that I wish we had same the courage the Kiwi's had not to fight, not to sell out for a free trade agreement.

The thing about friendship I thought was you appreciate when a friend tells you when your doing something wrong. And you never hold that against them.
A real friend wouldn't need to threaten or conjole you into thinking what they think.

Australia has been a good friend to the US.  The Kiwis were, but I've had to turn my back on them since they stole the America's Cup.  I suppose I can start being nice now that they've finally lost it.
