OMG....$480 for speakers?  Eesssh

I found 2 things quite interesting...

A)  His decision to go nVidia vs ATI.  I was also impressed at the 2D slowdowns...I have an AMD here at work (same speed as my home machine)..this one is ATI, my home is GeForce 4600.  I'm wondering if the slow down he mentioned at lower resolutions (Im 8x6 here, 1280x1024 at home) is going on here.

B) Power.  Here at work, we flicker all over the place and I have both conditioners and UPS installed.  We're largely hydroelectric around here, so the power is kinda up n down, or so my electrician says

Dunno BB, can't pull the link.  The link I posted appeared at slashdot.  Therefore, it's guaranteed the linked server will be overwhelmed for a bit.  Wait a bit - later this afternoon maybe.
